GOOGLE : will expand its ' DARK WEB REPORTS '

Google is expanding its dark web reporting service to all U.S. Gmail users, making it easier for users to monitor and protect their personal information. Originally exclusive to Google One subscribers, this service scans the dark web for instances of users' information, such as email addresses and Social Security numbers. If a match is found, the service provides guidance on protective measures, such as reporting the stolen information to the government or enabling multifactor authentication.
In addition to this expansion, Google introduced several other security enhancements. Android 14 will inform users when apps share their data with third-party advertisers, allowing them to approve or decline these permissions. Google Drive will soon feature a "spam view" to help users filter potentially harmful content, and a new Safe Browsing API aims to identify and block phishing attempts more effectively. Google is also rolling out a "Data Deletion" section in the Play Store, enabling users to easily request the deletion of their data from apps. https://www.androidcentral.com/apps-software/google-io-2023-online-safety) https://siliconangle.com/2023/05/10/google-expands-dark-web-reporting-service-us-gmail-users/).
